Tie Zoley founded GEO Group, the private-prison company, and became its chairman and CEO again in March 2026 after five years as executive chairman. A GEO subsidiary, GEO Reentry Services, gave MAGA Inc., Trump's super PAC, $1 million each in October 2025, March, April and July 2026, $413,000 at the end of July 2026 and another $1 million on September 1, 2026, and the company's PAC gave $500,000 to Trump's inaugural committee in December 2024, FEC filings show.

The New York Times found no evidence linking the donations to contracts awarded to the company. GEO has won ICE contracts under both parties.
